Cookie policy

The short version

We keep browser storage to a minimum. There is no advertising, no marketing tracking and no third-party profiling on this site. Analytics is switched off unless you turn it on.

Essential storage

These are needed for the site to work and cannot be switched off:

• Sign-in session. When you create an account and sign in, our authentication provider stores a session token in your browser so you stay signed in. Removing it signs you out.
• Your cookie choice. We store your answer to the cookie banner, with the date and the policy version, so we don't ask again and can show you what you chose.
• Things you asked us to remember. If you use the grant finder or save funding without an account, your answers and saved items are kept in your own browser only. They are not sent anywhere until you create an account.

Analytics

We measure how the site is used so we can see which pages help people find funding. You can switch this off at any time in the cookie preferences, and once you do, no measurement events are recorded. Turning it off changes nothing else about how the site works. If we later add a named analytics tool, this page will be updated to list it and what it stores.

We never send personal or business details to analytics. That means no email address, no business name, no postcode, no turnover, no employee numbers, no funding amounts and no account identifier — only the fact that a generic action happened, such as a search being run or a funding page being opened.

Third-party cookies

We do not set third-party advertising cookies. If you sign in with Google, Google may set its own cookies as part of that sign-in; that is handled by Google under its own policies. Our hosting and database providers may set strictly necessary cookies for security and load balancing.

Changing your mind

You can change your choice whenever you like. Withdrawing analytics consent is as easy as giving it.
