Editorial policy

How funding records and guides are researched, verified and kept up to date.

Sources

Every funding record is based on the official programme page published by the funder. That source link is shown on each grant page so you can check the original wording yourself.

Verification & review

Each record carries a last checked date. Records are reviewed when the funder updates the programme and on a rolling schedule; records that have not been checked recently are flagged internally for review.

Expired programmes

Closed programmes are marked as closed or archived rather than deleted, so the historical record remains available while expired opportunities are not presented as open.

Plain summaries

Summaries are written in our own words to make eligibility easier to compare. Where our wording and the funder's wording differ, the funder's wording is authoritative.

Independence

Listings are not paid placements. We do not accept payment from funders to include, rank or promote a programme, and we do not receive commission on applications.

Demonstration data

While the site is in its first version, records marked "Example funding programme — demonstration data" exist only to test the interface. They are not real funding opportunities.

Corrections

If you spot an error, tell us through the contact page. Corrections to eligibility, values and deadlines are prioritised.
